Auricular Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been practiced successfully in Asia for over 4000 years. In the early 1970’s UCLA began the first American program to study and incorporate acupuncture. In 1973 when physicians proved that ear acupuncture could eliminate heroin addiction, the demand for Auriculotherapy began to quickly grow. Acupuncture has been proven to not only eliminate symptoms of disease, but in many cases to cure it.

Mary Lee has taken three different courses to learn the art of auricular acupuncture including “Battlefield Acupuncture” which is taught by the US Army. Musculoskeletal pain, anxiety, insomnia and smoking cessation are just a few of the conditions that can be greatly improved with the use of acupuncture.
