Who is HRT right for?

As we age our hormone levels change and result in a wide range of symptoms, many of which can be relieved with HRT. Both men and woman benefit from the effects of HRT.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy

What is surprising to many is that both men AND women benefit form testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). As your body ages, it naturally begins to slow down its production of testosterone. Common side effects of decreased testosterone include weight gain and muscle loss, decreased energy, decline in mental focus, depressed mood, as well as decreased sex drive. This is a completely normal process, but you don’t have to live with feeling tired. 

HRT for Men

While Low T can cause many similar symptoms in men and women, the effects of low T in men can be even more dramatic due to the wide range in testosterone levels men experience in their lifetime. This large change in levels causes many troubling symptoms that reduce your quality of life such as poor concentration, decrease in motivation, fatigue, loss of libido, erectile dysfunction, depression, weight gain and decreased muscle mass. We will customize a TRT program specifically for you based on symptoms and patient specific blood testing. 

HRT for Women

At around 40 years of age all women experience a decline in hormone production. While this is a normal part of aging, a drop in estrogen and progesterone comes with many unwanted symptoms. Women also experience a decline in testosterone levels that account for many of their concerns about decreased energy and libido that can also readily be managed with TRT in addition to management of estrogen and progesterone.

Why are BHRT Pellets superior to traditional HRT injections?

To be able to evaluate your needs the following labs would need to be obtained 2 weeks prior to the appointment date, through your medical primary care provider (PCP);

If you do not have a PCP we recommend obtaining the necessary lab work at Labcorp, a trusted company in the laboratory industry. We will be happy to meet with you for the free consultation without labs or primary care not but will not be able to provide treatment at that time.

If you do not have a copy of your most recent medical records please complete the records release form that is attached. 

Woman: You will also need your most recent Pap/Mammo exam, or other documentation showing they are current.  

Men:  You will also need your most recent prostate and rectal examination documentation if age appropriate.
